The Yoast SEO meta box might be missing in your WordPress editor due to several reasons. Here are the most common causes and solutions:
1. Yoast SEO Plugin is Disabled or Not Installed
Check if the plugin is activated in Plugins > Installed Plugins.
If not installed, download and install it from the WordPress repository.
2. Screen Options are Hiding the Meta Box
Click the “Screen Options” tab (top-right corner of the editor).
Ensure “Yoast SEO” is checked.
3. User Role Restrictions
Yoast SEO may hide the meta box for users without sufficient permissions.
Check Yoast SEO > General > Security to adjust user role access.
